The Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán is leaving no stone unturned in the organization of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2024.
This Saturday the General Director of the paramunicipal, Raúl Rico González, met with municipal authorities to guarantee order during the Carnaval festivities.
In the meeting held in the Cultura Board room, issues of logistics, access, ticket offices and public services were reviewed to provide greater fluidity, avoid setbacks and meet the challenge of guaranteeing public safety during the massive coronation events at the Stadium. Teodoro Mariscal, parades on the coastal promenade and Carnaval nights in Olas Altas.
Regarding access for Carnaval nights in Olas Altas, Raúl Rico specified that the accesses and ticket offices will be located at the intersection of the coastal promenade with the streets: Rigoberto Lewis, Zaragoza; Paseo Claussen, Ángel Flores, Sixto Osuna and Constitución.
Regarding commerce, it was reported that fixed stalls and street commerce will be prohibited from selling spray, foam, shells, pyrotechnics and games of chance.
The sale of tropical drinks, jugs, Russian drinks with and without alcohol, cooked or roasted corn on wooden sticks, the use of single-use plastic bags, and the use of disposable plates, cups and straws is prohibited.
Regarding sanitary services, it was reported that the bathrooms will be available to the public on the sidewalk of Paseo Olas Altas, next to the “Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez” Primary School; on Ángel Flores and Pedregoso streets, in front of Clavadista, on the sidewalk of Cerro de la Nevería and 85 independent toilets will be placed, in a location to be defined.

Barrón Valdez; the head of Municipal Civil Protection, Eloy Ruiz Gastélum; the Director of Public Services, Karla Camacho; Paúl Wong, Mary Angulo and Juan Manuel Vázquez, on behalf of Cultura, and staff from Urban Cleaning, General Officials and Public Lighting, among other public servants
