They still do not wear the crown but the sovereigns of the greatest Port festival have already begun to promote Carnaval Internacional de Mazatlán, as happened this Monday when they accompanied the Municipal President of Mazatlán, Edgar González Zatarain, during the broadcast of the program “Me lo Dijo Adela”, hosted by the renowned journalist Adela Micha.
Adela Micha is in Mazatlán, and while she takes time to get to know the charms and gastronomy of this city, this morning she broadcast live her program “Me lo Dijo Adela”
During the broadcast she praised the port for its natural beauty, for its gastronomy, for the development of its infrastructure and of course for its Carnaval.
The Mayor of Mazatlán, Edgar González and the General Director of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, Raúl Rico González, attended to the invitation of Adela Micha and participated in her program accompanied by the social and entertainment chronicler, Carmelita Salazar.
Adela Micha chatted pleasantly with her guests, they talked about the next eclipse, security, Centro Historico, the Malecon, the tourist occupation in recent years, the construction of business towers in which “El Encanto Desarrollos” has an important participation, of Mazatlecan gastronomy, of Plazuela Machado and of course of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2024 “Eclipse Barroco”, which takes place from February 8th to 13th.
Mayor González Zatarain highlighted that the growth of Mazatlán is unstoppable and has positioned the port as one of the most emerging development poles in the country with more than 40 billion pesos in private investment plus public investment during 2023.
Carmelita Salazar mentioned that Carnaval Mazatlán is one of the most joyful and most visited in the country and that Mazatlán is always happy and due to the development of its real estate and hotel infrastructure this port became a very important place at the national level.
Adela Micha expressed her great desire to have the experience of the Quema del Mal Humor, praised the beauty of the Carnaval monigotes and was surprised by the organization of Carnaval, where in this regard, Raúl Rico added that the organization of the maximum fiesta is not the only function of the Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán since all year round there are cultural activities with a very active participation of the Canadian and North American community.
During the broadcast of the program “Me lo Dijo Adela” the host was pleasantly surprised when dacers and musicians entered the stage with singular joy as a preamble to the presentation for the sovereigns, S.G.M. Carolina III, Carnaval Queen 2024; S.G.M. Siu Ling Cotero, Queen of the Floral Games; S.G.M. María Paula I, Child Queen; the Queen of Poetry, S.GM. Givanna I and the King of Joy, Héctor Limón.
Adela Micha congratulated the Queens and Kings of Carnaval on their intelligence and beauty, while the King of Joy used his particular sense of humor to elicit splendorous laughter from all the technicians and attendees during the broadcast.
