The 122nd edition of Carnaval Internacional de Mazatlan 2020, “Somos América, Pasión, Alegría y Esperanza”, will undoubtedly be the best edition of all, which is why executives of the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan in company of the safety committee of the same, perform preventive work to ensure quality and safety in the grand parades.
In a morning tour, José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, in charge of the General Directorate of the Institute of Culture, headed a contingent where the security commanders of the three levels of government were present, and made decisions that will be reflected in the holidays next Sunday, the 23rd and Tuesday, February 25th, when the grand parades will be held.
During the walk, different factors were observed that could hinder the route of the royal floats, which will be happening in the streets of the port from Miguel Alemán Avenue, Olas Altas Avenue, Avenida del Mar and Rafael Buelna Avenue.
Tostado Quevedo said that this work as a whole, is unique in the history of the maximum celebration of the port, since there is a history of meetings where only managers without security authorities did this, and he wants to strengthen the indications given by the Mayor of Mazatlan, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres, working as a team for the good of the municipality.
