As in thousands of Mazatlecan girls, Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2023 “Déjàvu… 125 años de tradición” awakens in Osleidy Aimee Velarde Manjarrez, the dream of wearing the coveted crown of Children’s Queen to represent the children of this city.

She wants to be a Children’s Queen because it is an illusion, a dream that she wants to crystallize, since Carnaval is a fiesta she has enjoyed and she believes that she would be a great representative of the children of this municipality.

“Carnaval means a family fiesta to me, there is music, it is experienced with great joy, I like the parade of floats and it is a beautiful tradition that we Mazatlecans have,” she said.

The candidate is 10 years old, her birthday is December 20th, her hobbies are dancing, modeling, singing, reading, and cheerleading. She has a habit of reading and her favorite book is Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s masterpiece, “The Little Prince”.

Her favorite food is pierna and pizza, and facing the final stretch of the contest, the candidate asks that you enjoy the great Mazatlecan fiesta that will take place from February 16th to 21st, and asks you to be attentive to the second Carnaval count which will be on Friday, January 27th at 5:00 p.m. in Plazuela República.
