Regardless of the weather conditions, Mazatlecans slept outside the box office of the Ángela Peralta Theater in order to obtain tickets for the coronations of Carnaval Internacional de Mazatlán 2024 “Baroque Eclipse”.
From 10:00 p.m. on Monday – without the official launch of the cast – the Quiroz family decided to spend the night outside the Ángela Peralta Theater to buy tickets for the coronations.
The Quiroz took turns at the door of the Theater box office to be the first to purchase tickets for the coronations of the Port’s biggest festival, which will take place from Thursday, February 8th to Tuesday, February 13th.
“Here my family has been in line since 10 at night, we do shifts every 2 hours, and right now we are outside the Theater waiting for them to open, we got up early,” said Mazatlan resident Yuriana Quiroz.
In addition to this ticket office, the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán enabled three modules for the purchase of tickets, they are located in the facilities of Cultura Mazatlán, on Avenida Miguel Alemán #203 Colonia Centro, in the Municipal Palace and inside of the La Gran Plaza shopping center, which will be open every day until the coronations conclude.
Sales hours at the TAP box office are from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; The Cultura and Mazatlán City Hall modules will remain open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; while in Gran Plaza it will be attended from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In the edition of Eclipse Baroque the coronations of Carnaval royalty will take place at the Teodoro Mariscal Stadium and will be with the performance of Julión Álvarez and Alfredo Olivas during the coronation ceremony of the King of Joy, when the carnival party begins on Thursday, February 8th starting at 7:30 p.m.
The coronation of the Queen of Floral Games will take place on Friday the 9th starting at 8:30 p.m; The guest artists are Fernando de la Mora and Ely Guerra; while Emmanuel and Alexander Acha will give a memorable performance during the Coronation of the Carnaval Queen, on Saturday, February 10th, starting at 6:30 p.m. On the day dedicated to boys and girls, Monday, February 12th, the coronation of the Children’s Queen will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the entertainment will be provided by the Colombian group Piso 21.
The price of the tickets varies for each of the coronations and the area to choose, on this occasion they range between 200 and 1,800 pesos per person.
