Her Majesty Lucero I, Queen of the Mazatlán International Carnaval 2025, the current Queen of the Floral Games, Desiré I, and the King of Joy, Brayan I, illuminated the 49th edition of the Mexico 2025 Tourist Market, held in Baja California, where the stage hosted the joyful performance of the Mazatlán Institute of Culture’s Folkloric Ballet.
This international tourism event took place from April 28th to May 1st. Mazatlán stood out in the eyes of tour operators from around Mexico and the world as one of the country’s leading beach, cultural, and culinary destinations, and the only one with a Historic Center.
The costumes, beauty, and charm of the royal procession drew attention from the first minute the Sinaloa stand opened, one of the most visited in the Baja California Center’s main pavilion.
During the cultural activities, the Instituto de Cultura’s Folkloric Ballet, directed by Maestro Javier Arcadia, displayed traditional Sinaloa costumes, captivating the audience with their performance to the rhythm of the Sinaloa band. Carnaval songs and iconic Sinaloan pieces such as “El sauce y la palma,” “Mi gusto es,” and “El toro mambo” were performed with passion and joy by the young dancers. Another delight for attendees was the typical Sinaloan gastronomic display, which captivated the palates of every visitor to the stand at the Baja California Center.
