Cultura took a new ace from the magician by confirming the performance of Denise Gutiérrez during the show “México en Grande” in which Fernando de la Mora and Ely Guerra will also participate to pay homage to the Queen of the Floral Games of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2024, Siu Ling Cotero Chío, on the night of her coronation.
The concert with the musical accompaniment of the Camerata Mazatlán and the Mexican Traditional Ensemble, under the baton of guest conductor Marco Antonio Natanael Espinoza, will take place on Friday, February 9th at 8:30 p.m. at the Teodoro Mariscal Stadium.
The great quality of voice and the high registers that Fernando de la Mora reaches, combined with his stage presence and unmatched charisma, make the talented Mexican singer one of the best opera performers in the world.
Fernando de la Mora debuted in 1986 at the Palacio de Bellas Artes and subsequently began performances on the most important stages in the world: Metropolitan Opera in New York, Vienna Opera, Barcelona, Moscow, Berlin, Bologna, Milan, San Diego, Paris, Japan , Venice, Stockholm, Buenos Aires, Miami, Pittsburg, Caracas, Dallas, Seattle, Bogotá, Marseille, Puerto Rico and Korea.
His discography is made up of 32 productions that cover an extensive repertoire between opera, classical music, Mexican and Latin American popular songs as well as songs with Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán.
The music will be provided by the Camerata Mazatlán and the Traditional Mexican Ensemble (mariachi) directed by Samuel Murillo and as guest conductor maestro Marco Antonio Natanael Espinoza, artistic director and founder of the successful Orquesta Filarmónica del Desierto, Coahuila de Zaragoza, comes to Mazatlán (OFCD), which he has led for almost a decade.
His right hand will mark the time and his left hand will mark the phrasing of the music and will give the entrance to the instrumentalists to show them how they have to play, the talent of the Master. Marco Antonio Natanael will come to shape the fusion between the extraordinary Camerata Mazatlán and the brilliant Mariachi Ensamble Tradicional Mexicano, so that together with Fernando de la Mora, Denise Gutiérrez and Ely Guerra they will make the Coronation of the Queen of the Floral Games a night where our Mexican roots will be eclipsed by these international talents.

Ely Guerra. Mexican singer, musician and composer with a twenty-four-year career, eight albums, an acoustic EP and a music videogram, all released internationally. Recipient of three nominations and winner of a Latin Grammy, the independent musician builds the path of her proposal from her company, Homey Company.
Ely has performed with her music throughout the Mexican Republic, various cities in Europe, the United States, Cuba, Central and South America. She has been invited to collaborate in more than forty phonographic productions; Control Machete, Minus the Bear, La Ley, Celso Piña, Sussie 4, Frank Quintero, Felipe Pérez Santiago and Carla Morrison are some of her fellow hosts.
Denise Gutiérrez is a singer, musician and vocalist of Mexican bandas, Hello Seahorse! and MexFutura.
With a career already established in Mexico’s alternative scene, Denise Gutiérrez has managed to position herself as one of the most prominent singers of the moment.
The song “Luna” by composer León Larregui, which he performed with the band Zoé in the recording of MTV Unplugged Música de Fondo (Reissue/Live) in 2011, was one of the songs and one of the videos that reached 349 million views.
Denise Gutiérrez has collaborated with Fernanda Ulibarri, Enjambre, Natalia Lafourcade, Sussie 4 and with the international orchestra from Ixtapalapa to the world, Los Ángeles Azules, with which she grew her popularity by performing “El listón de tu pelo”.
Alondra de la Parra also integrated Denise Gutiérrez in the record production (2011) titled “Travieso Carmesí” with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas and in 2023 a collaboration with Diego Ridolfi from “Fármacos” was launched, which is consolidated as one of the most current Latin American pop projects of the decade.

Maestro Natanael Espinoza is a guest of large orchestras in Mexico, Europe, the United States and Latin America.
At the head of the OFDC he has played in the great cultural venues of Mexico, such as the historic Palace of Fine Arts (2017) and the Cervantino International Festival (2020 and 2021).
He trained as an orchestra conductor by doing academic studies in Bucharest, Romania, New York, Havana, Cuba and CDMX.
