Boys and girls from Mazatlán and its surroundings made the Children’s Dance a great event, where magic, joy, and the color of the costumes were the elements that shone in the edition of “ Baroque Eclipse”.

Like every year, the Children’s Dance brought together more than a hundred children of all ages, who enthusiastically competed in the different categories: costume, fantasy costume or in the different dance categories.

The Spectaculare hall was the ideal setting where the cheers did not stop encouraging each participant who gave their best.

For this occasion the jury was made up of María Teresa Apodaca, President of the Mazatlán DIF System; SGM Karina Dueñas, Queen of the Floral Games 2001; SGM Miriam Trewartha, Children’s Queen 1996; Majo Ávila, Radio Lobos Announcer; Rocío Barragán, local journalist; and Carmina Carranza, designer and decorator, ladies who gave their qualification in this tough competition.

In the costume contest, the participants showed their ingenuity, charisma and proudly wore the costumes they made with great enthusiasm.

The Individual Costume category was won by the competitor “Tefity” followed by “Pinocho” y “La Sirenita”, while in Couple’s Fantasy “Sintiendo la Música” fue el dueto ganador, followed by “Tiki y Time en Hawaiian” and “Limpieza Bucal”..

With great elegance in her outfit, the girl “Cultura Barroca” was the winner in the “Individual Fantasy Costume” division, while “Fantasía Sobre las Olas” took second place followed by “Esto es México”.
The Couple Costume category had the duo “El Pez y el Barco”, as the winner, the smallest competitors “The Trolls” took second place, and “Flamingos” took third place.

In the dance aspect, Comparsas category, the energy and impetus of “Las Nuevas Latinas” led them to have the highest qualification to win the place of honor.

With a modern and at the same time typical charro costume, the members of “México en la Piel” achieved second place, while “Las Muñecas de Colores” completed the podium.

To the rhythm of modern dances, little “Divina” was the absolute winner of the “Individual Dance” category, second place went to “Power Baby”, while third place went to “La Chica Dorada”.

In the last competition of the day, Couple Dance, the duo identified as “Explosion” put out their best steps to succeed.
With a salsa rhythm and a lot of charisma, “Sabor Latino” achieved second place, while “Los Reyes del Mambo” achieved third place.
