On Friday, December 8th, starting at 4:30 p.m., there will be a fiesta in the streets of the north of the city with live music, dancing, confetti and streamers during the first major Carnaval demonstration with the participation of the current sovereigns and the candidates for the crowns of the next edition of the maximum festival.

The demonstration will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Av. Rafael Buelna at the intersection with Av. Francisco Solís, will continue towards Bicentenario and Delfín avenues and turn towards Av. de las Torres del Infonavit Playas to enter Felipe Ángeles street and conclude in the Plazuela Solidaridad of Col. Francisco Villa, where at 6:00 p.m. the first count will begin between the candidates for King of Joy and the girls competing for the children’s crown.

The presence of the current sovereigns of Carnaval Mazatlán, Alejandra Tirado, Queen of the maximum festival; Uma Ramírez, Queen of the Floral Games; Víctor Quiroz, King of the Carnaval; Melanie Alarcón, Queen of Children and Ivanna II, Queen of Poetry, will give a royal and bright touch to the caravan that will cross the northern colonies of the city.

Banda music, the joy of the dance troups, and the shouts of support from each candidate’s supporters will give life to the long-awaited demonstration to promote Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2024 to be held from February 8th to 13th under the motto “Baroque Eclipse.”

During the count in the Francisco Villa neighborhood, the girls: María Paula Velarde García, 7 years old, and Givanna Valdez Miranda, 8 years old, will deliver their first vows in search of the children’s crown.

Also making their first contributions to conquer the reign of Joy: Víctor Manuel García Reyes, Carlos Pabian Carreón Sánchez; Héctor Ricardo Ontiveros Limón, Benjamín López de la Paz, and Germán Orozco de la Rosa.

In this Carnaval fiestaparty, the beauty of the candidates for the highest crown of Carnaval Mazatlán could not be missing: Jasaret Álvarez Díaz, 22 years old; Aspasia Cárdenas Portillo, 25 years old; Irene Guadalupe Rojas Alcaraz, 23 years old; Mónica Georgina Vázquez Veytia, 24 years old; Rubí Carolina Mondragón Madrigal, 25 years old; Samantha Espinosa Osuna, 23 years old; Andrea Elizabeth García Navarro, 23 years old; Catalina Castellanos Osuna, 25 years old; Carolina Pano Ruelas, 22 years old, and Siu Ling Cotero Chío, 24 years old.
