The dream that I have that is not fulfilled, but possibly today I am living it, is this, to be a candidate for Carnaval Queen and it is one of my short-term goals, expressed Jasa Álvarez Díaz, 22 years old, graduated in Cosmetology and Cosmiatry.
The candidate for the top crown of Carnaval Mazatlán assures that her participation in the contest is a source of inspiration to motivate all people to dare to fight for her dreams.
If I win the race, I will represent Mazatlán, the history it has and its traditions, but I will also be the representative of the beauty of Mazatlan women, says the candidate with the pink baton.
From your point of view, how are the stories and traditions of Mazatlán placed worldwide?
“I see them in a very high place because Carnaval is one of the most important, recognized internationally.
She believes that Carnaval Mazatlán is a culturally representative popular festival that can provide teaching and learning to other states.
Finally, Jasa Álvarez responds that the support of the people of Mazatlán greatly influences her.
“The joy and support of the Mazatlecan people motivates me to want to continue preparing, to want to continue giving the best of myself and from a perspective with a good heart.”
The Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2024 Queen election contest will be on Saturday, January 20th at 8:00 p.m. at the Ángela Peralta Theater.
