Winning is one of my greatest dreams, and as a doctor I would like to provide information to the Mazatlecan community, to be able to make them change their habits a little and give more attention to people with limited resources, supporting in health matters is my vocation, says María Fernanda Ramírez Ríos, 22 years old, candidate for Queen of the Mazatlán International Carnaval 2025 “La Perla”.
What do you propose so that the Mazatlán International Carnaval lasts and manages to position itself as the best?
“I think that Mazatlán has been evolving a lot, both in terms of tourism and culture. I think that, as things are going, they are going very well, both in terms of infrastructure and its impact on the port, and it has promoted tourism,” answers the medical student, a candidate for the sky-blue party.
What commitments would you make for yourself so that, if you win, your reign would transcend over time?
“Currently, social networks are the main source of communication and entertainment. I think that making myself known there would be essential to spread the things I want to do, so that my grain of sand remains permanently stored there.”
What virtue is the most important to wear a crown?
“Confidence, believing in yourself, respect for others, education.”
-What message do you send to the population?
“That they be happy and enjoy every achievement in their lives, that they love with all their heart and that they should never stop dreaming, because dreams can come true and I am achieving one of them.”
