Beauty, glamor, sympathy, elegance and excitement were experienced in the event of election of queens of Carnaval de Mazatlan 2020, “Somos America”, which starts today with all its strength.
Libya Gavica was elected Queen of Carnaval Mazatlan, while Brianda Lizárraga won the Queen of the Floral Games crown in a close competition, where the 12 aspirants gave their best, demonstrating the beauty and intelligence of the Mazatlecan woman.
The big night had as presenters Krystal Silva model and conductor of Azteca Uno and Ricardo Barrera conductor of Tv Azteca Sinaloa, while the jury was represented by Alfonso Waithsman, star makeup artist; Perla Beltrán, Miss World Mexico 2009; Lourdes Munguía, film, theater and television actress; María Patricia Castañeda, Head of Televisa Shows; Miguel Martínez, actor and singer; Carlos Pineda, fashion designer; Monica Noguera, host of Televisa, who had the difficult task of qualifying the 12 candidates, in stages as criteria and beauty.
The artistic show catapulted the great night, with the presentation of the Classical Ballet Company of Sinaloa and the Professional School of Contemporary Dance directed by maestro Guillermo Carrillo, with the support of choreographers Ernesto Crespo and Agustín Martínez, great dance pieces that put the atmosphere and taste into what is Carnaval Mazatlan.
The event was headed by the Mayor, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres, by his distinguished wife Gabriela Peña Chico and José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, in charge of the Office of the General Directorate of the Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan.
The event was a resounding fiesta, full of magic, elegance, beauty and flavor, the beginning of Somos America 2020.
