For me, participating in the contest to choose the Mazatlán Carnival Queen is very important, the truth is that it is something that I have wanted since I was little and what an honor to represent the Mazatlecan woman, all Mazatlecans and our beautiful Carnaval, expresses Aspasia Cárdenas Portillo.
The 25-year-old young woman, a lawyer by profession, talks about the city, about the last book she has read and her expectations regarding the Election of Queens of the greatest Port festival.
Regarding her contribution to improving the current context in the world, she responded: “I would mainly like to make all people aware of taking care of ourselves and loving ourselves and accepting ourselves as we are.”
What was the last book you read?
“It is called The Little Prince, because it teaches us many things about life.”
The candidate with the yellow baton expressed that for her the Carnaval audience represents a lot of joy and a lot of fun.
Finally, she said that being Queen of Carnaval Internacional de Mazatlán is a dream that has not yet come true for her, “but it will come true,” she emphasizes.
