I want to win (the crown) for a long time I have set out to be on stage and win the Queens Election, it is one of my goals, if I succeed I would be winning one more dream, says Melissa Cuevas Aispuro, candidate of the red banner for Queen of the Mazatlán International Carnaval.
What do you propose so that the Mazatlán International Carnaval lasts and manages to position itself as the best?
“We are already very recognized because we have the best Carnaval, we are already more prepared for each situation, we are going to achieve it,” answers the Law Degree student.
What commitments would you make for yourself so that, if you win, your reign would transcend over time?
“Right now we need more empathy and compassion, especially that Mazatlán is a very beautiful port that we don’t want anything to affect us and that’s what I come to represent as a candidate for Carnaval queen, that we are more empathetic.”
What virtue is the most important to wear a crown?
“Honesty because it is an achievement that you are fulfilling and you proposed, so in my case it comes to represent honesty, which is the most important thing, because it reveals transparency towards the person that you are.”
“I would ask that you support this international event, which is very beautiful and represents the Mazatlecan culture that many people do not know yet and that you do not get carried away by bad comments, Carnaval is the fiesta and joy of many Mazatlan families.”
