Ángela Salazar Irigoyen, a girl of only 9 years old, feels very happy just a few hours away from reaching the grand finale of the contest to choose the Children’s Queen of the Mazatlán International Carnaval 2025 “La Perla”, to be held from February 27th to March 4th.
With a great passion for the party and a dream since she was little, Ángela is ready to shine on the stage that will be installed in Plazuela República by staff of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, organizer of the biggest fiesta.
“I was motivated to see the queens pass by on the floats and I really like the parade. I have always seen princesses in cartoons and since I was little I wanted to be a queen,” confessed Angela Salazar.
For Angela, this edition of Carnaval Mazatlan represents “the wonders of the sea and the beautiful things that are in the sea.”
“I ask the people of Mazatlan to continue supporting me and to also be able to fulfill their dream as I did, to have a dream since I was little,” said the child candidate of the yellow group.
The last count to choose the Children’s Queen of the Mazatlan International Carnaval 2025 will take place this Friday, February 7th at 6 pm in the Plazuela República. The winner will be the one who contributes the highest number of economic votes.
