Graduate in Cosmetology and professional makeup artist Brayan Gamboa Durán is preparing to reach the final stretch of the contest for the crown of King of Joy of the Mazatlán International Carnaval 2025 “La Perla”.
The final count will be this Friday, February 7th at 6:00 pm in the Plazuela República, but while the most anticipated moment arrives, he does not miss the opportunity to promote his candidacy and, in passing, ask for popular support.
Brayan Gamboa is 25 years old and says that he decided to participate in the election of the next sovereign of the Mazatlan Carnaval to fulfill the dream of his inner child because as a Mazatlan native, Carnaval runs through his blood.
Why do you want to be King of Carnaval Mazatlan?
“I want to be king of the Carnaval, because I am a person who firmly believes that all dreams can come true, so one of my biggest dreams is to be King of Joy of the Mazatlan Carnaval.”
What does Carnaval Mazatlan represent to you? “For me, the greatest party represents culture, tradition, love for my port, all of that.”
What is your cheerleading banner? “My cheerleading banner is black, obviously the best.”
A call to the population, something you want to say?
“The greatest message I can leave to the population is to fight for their dreams, everything can be fulfilled, it is a matter of setting your mind to it and then putting it into action.”
