Five days of intense activities where the name of Mazatlan and its Carnaval were present at the International Tourism Fair 2020 held in Madrid, Spain.
Karla II and Yamilé I, Queen of Carnaval and Queen of the Floral Games 2019, were the center of attention by the attendees who took advantage of the Mazatlan stand to explain all the attractions of the Pearl of the Pacific and invite them to experience the joy and tradition of the Mazatlan International Carnaval.
Another attraction without a doubt, was the gastronomy that made the thousands of those present wanting to taste the delights offered by this port and not to mention the dance shows that also attracted attention.
The Riviera Mazatlan was positioned as an important tourist destination which encompasses six municipalities in southern Sinaloa: Elota, San Ignacio, Concordia, Mazatlan, Rosario and Escuinapa.
The presence of the Mazatlan International Carnaval at FITUR 2020 did not go unnoticed by international media, tour operators and businessmen from all over the world.
With the success of the Mazatlan delegation in this important Fair that culminated on Sunday, one of the objectives of the Mayor, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres, to put Mazatlan in the eyes of the world was fulfilled.
