Made with materials imported from different places like South America, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, Édgar Ponce was in charge of dressing the Queen of the Floral Games, this time Brinda 1st, will wear “The Creation”, while her princesses will wear clothes that were motivated by the environment.
“The Creation” will be a unique outfit inspired by the elements of nature, the culture of the countries of this continent and the joy of the maximum festival of the port Carnaval Internacional de Mazatlán 2020, “Somos América, Pasión, Alegría y Esperanza”.
The designer who for the second consecutive year was in charge of dressing royalty of the cultural side of the Carnaval, indicated that the dress consists of three pieces, which are grouped together, have visual details, weighs approximately 36 kilograms, is couture, innovative techniques were implemented, and one of the characteristics of this outfit is that it will have a 360 degree view, betting on transcending history, and to the liking of the Mazatlan public.
“No detail was spared or anything to make this a jewel, that speaks of the responsibility I have as a designer, and is one more proposal because the Mazatlan public deserves the best of the best,” he said.
Ponce said that Mazatlan is growing, transcending, that is why as a citizen he feels with the moral obligation to provide the city and its culture with some quality that elevates this perception of the Port, a commitment that is reflected in this dress called “The Creation ”, and that will surely speak positively of Carnaval and its people.
In the artistic and cultural part, the coronation show of Brianda I, will be majestic, will feature the dance of the Classical Ballet of the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte, of the company Tropicuba Show (with special guests), of the School Professional of Contemporary Dance and the Folkloric Ballet El Mazatleco, directed by the choreographers, Guillermo Carrillo, Ernesto Crespo and Walberto Castro.
In the musical part there will be the presentation of the singer Pepe Aguilar, accompanied by Leonardo and Ángela Aguilar, as well as the Sinaloa Orchestra of the Arts, directed by the maestro Francisco Cedillo Blanco.
The event will be held on Friday, February 21, at 8:30 p.m. at the Teodoro Mariscal Stadium, the doors of the Stadium will open two hours earlier.
