The sovereigns of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2023, Uma Ramírez, Queen of the Floral Games, and Víctor Quiroz, King of Carnaval, were guests of honor from the Technological University of Escuinapa to crown the new royals UTESC 2023.
In the educational complex, the representatives of the maximum fiesta of the port put the crown on the winners of the contest, all in the midst of a colorful, harmonious and respectful student celebration with the participants.
Uma I placed the crown on the winner of the afternoon, the new school queen María Jaqueline Ramos Valenzuela, a student of Industrial Maintenance Engineering, who emerged victorious.
Víctor II did the same with Carlos Canales, representative of the Tourism Management and Development Degree, who became the first UTESC King.
For this special event, the jury was made up of SGM Abigail García, Queen of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2011; by SGM Bernardo Camacho, King of Joy of the same year and the outgoing queen of UTESC, María Fernanda Galindo.
The presence of the sovereigns of Carnival Mazatlan was requested by Doctor Juan Manuel Mendoza Guerrero, Rector of the Technological University of Escuinapa, who opportunely had an approach with the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán.
