I want to win the crown of King of Joy to be part of the history of Carnaval Internacional de Mazatlán, one of the most important carnivals in the world, said Víctor García, 31 years old and student of the Nutrition degree.
The candidate for King of Joy of the Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2024 “Eclipse Barroco” shares the happiness that his registration in this contest has generated in him because competing for the crown is a dream that he has had since he was a child, and as he has always said, to be King of Carnaval is the dream of many Mazatlans.
“My mother teased me, she told me: What do you want, my Carnaval king? For me, Carnaval means everything. As a good Mazatleco, we all know that here the years go from Carnaval to Carnaval, so right now we are going with everything and for everything.”
Why did you decide to participate this year and not before or after? I wanted to do it for two years, but I hadn’t been able to because of the Covid issue, then I didn’t dare, but on this occasion I said, it’s now or never and the truth is I’m delighted with everything and with all the candidates. The competition is very strong, anyone can win.
A message that you want to give to the public: Oh the truth, guys who want to join next year, cheer up, it is a beautiful experience, everything is great and well, many thanks to the people of Mazatlán who have supported me with their messages. When they see me on the street, I really appreciate the love they give me!
